Time to break it all down in layman's terms.
Vitamins and minerals are found in foods we eat everyday. So it is important to eat the right food because each vitamin has a special function.
The two types of vitamins:
Fat soluble and Water soluble.
Vitamins A, D, E, and K
So when you eat vitamins that are fat soluable they stay in the fats of the body

The water soluable vitamins work alot differently. Basically the body uses what it needs, and then the rest comes out.
Vitamin C
B vitamins — B1 (thiamin), B2 (riboflavin),
niacin, B6 (pyridoxine), folic acid, B12
(cobalamine), biotin, and pantothenic acid.

You need this vitamin for your eyes and healthy Skin.

•liver
•carrots, oranges ,cantaloupe
•dark green leafy vegetables
Vitamin B
B vitamin.
B1, B2, B6, B12,
niacin, folic acid, biotin, and pantothenic acid.
The B vitamins help make energy and help carry oxygen to the blood cells.

Meat, peas, yogourt and leafy green vegetables
Vitamin C
This viatmin helps with the immune system as well as healthy gums, that why we don't have scurvy anymore.

Oranges, strawberries, even red peppers
Vitamin D
This vitamin helps you absorb calcium which is why you have strong bones.

MILK, fish, eggs and liver
Vitamin E
This vitamin helps with the skin, liver and even keeps free radicals out of the lungs.

Vitamin K
This vitamin helps to stop clotting to stop the bleeding.
